Who Should See An Advisor?
College of Education students must register with an academic advisor if:
- You are in your 1st or 2nd semester at Temple University
- Your cumulative or previous semester GPA is below 2.0
- You are returning from a readmission
All other students need to register through OWLnet (www.OWLnet.temple.edu).
Advising: Hours and Availability
Open Advising
Open advising (no appointment necessary) is offered Monday and Friday only, with your assigned advisor, during the hours indicated below. Open advising is provided on a first-come-first-served basis, for in-person requests only. Students should report to the Student Resource Center desk at 150 Ritter Annex.
Group Advising - Special Advising Hours September 2009
The Student Resource Center is offering Group Advising Sessions to provide undergraduate students with faster service for resolving frequently asked questions and issues. Students who have an urgent matter that needs to be addressed during the first two weeks of the semester are encouraged to sign up for one of the group advising sesssions. Individual advising appointments will resume on Tuesday, September 15th.
