To honor you for the completion of your academic program the College of Education invites you to participate in our Doctoral Hooding Ceremony which will take place on:

Great Court, Mitten Hall
7:30pm
(Please join us for a reception immediately following the ceremony)
Below are answers to frequently asked questions and informational links.
Yes. In order for your name to be announced you must register. We need to know if you will be attending and also who your faculty hooder will be.
Yes. Please see the new Temple University website for information about the University ceremony.
Tickets are not required for the College of Education Doctoral Hooding and Diploma Conferral Ceremony. However, you must pre-register.
Eligible graduates who select to attend the College ceremony will receive five (5) College of Education courtesy announcements. College of Education announcements will be sent automatically via U.S. mail upon receiving your registration.
You can also receive five (5) Commencement announcements. They may be obtained in the Office of Student Services, Ritter Annex-150.
Should you choose to attend your name will be called and you will be hooded. Please be sure to register so that we know you are coming.
The wearing of academic regalia (cap/tassel/gown/hood) is required for participation in the University commencement and College ceremonies.
All necessary items are available for purchase on-line at www.temple.edu/bookstore.
Diplomas are automatically mailed by an outside vendor hired by Temple University. You can expect to receive the diploma approximately six weeks after the ceremony.
Yes. Awards are presented in May at a College Awards ceremony. The Awards Ceremony time and location will be announced soon. . See a list of awards conferred each year.
